Renkus-Heinz Helps the Salvation Army Reimagine a Hollywood Golden Age Classic

HOLLYWOOD, CA – Salvation Army Hollywood, with the help of Renkus-Heinz, is renovating the Hawaii theater. The 1,100-capacity venue, a former movie palace that would herald the start of a movie with “erupting” volcanoes of light, had been acquired by the Salvation Army in 1963. Renkus-Heinz’s Garrison Parkin worked with local performer and show creator Sammy Oriti on the venue’s latest restoration.

Wolf Trap’s Filene Center Upgrades with Meyer Sound Gear

VIENNA, VA – Filene Center, the flagship venue at the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, turned to Solotech’s chief technology officer Kelly Prince for an upgrade that included Meyer Sound system components including LYON, LEOPARD, 1100-LFC, UPQ-D2, Ultra-X40 and Ultra-X20 components, with Galaxy 816 network platforms used for system drive and optimization.
