Celine Dion Tours Globe with Studer Vista

NEW YORK – Following her five-year, 700-plus performance run with A New Day at the Caesar's Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas, Celine Dion is now poised to embark upon her first world tour in eight years. Her highly anticipated return to the road, which is in support of a new album, Taking Chances, will employ a pair of brand new Studer Vista 5 SR digital live sound consoles, a design that was unveiled at the recent AES Convention in New York City.

ISTANBUL, TURKEY – Demonstrating JBL Professional VERTEC line arrays, audio company Altincizme Sound & Light Systems supported international pop star Shakira’s concert in Istanbul, Turkey, as part of her “Oral Fixation” tour. The tour, in support of Shakira’s album of the same name, began in June 2006 and included major concert events presented to sold-out audiences in the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and Central and South America.

DALY CITY, CA — The Goo Goo Dolls have been touring the world since the band released its 2006 album, Let Love In. At the tour’s audio helm is Engineer/Mixer Paul Hager, who previously worked with Avril Lavigne, Pink and The Donnas, among others. Hager was attracted to the Digidesign VENUE live sound system due to its Pro Tools integration, and eventually got the band to switch to VENUE for the tour.
