Big Beach Dance Festival in Japan Relies on RCF Gear

PIPERTON, TN — Living Hope Church, which recently opened its new 700-seat worship center here, contracted with Memphis-based Elite Multimedia to provide the sound system, acoustic treatments and AV system. The setup includes a Midas PRO2C at FOH, d&b T10 loudspeakers for the main sanctuary array (six per side), d&b 4S loudspeakers for frontfills and a single E12 loudspeaker as center downfill, all powered by d&b D6 and D12 amplifiers.

MADISON, WI — Full Compass Systems once again sponsored Circus of Chefs, a gala fundraiser now in its ninth year. This year, more than $173,000 was raised for Circus World Museum, a site owned by the Wisconsin Historical Society that focuses on preserving the history of circus entertainment and memorabilia.

LAS VEGAS — The producers of BeatleShow! didn’t have a time machine to bring audiences back to the British invasion of the 1960s, but they took pains to offer visitors something akin to a genuine Beatles concert, with details ranging from dramatic costumes to stage lighting and, of course, the sound system. Audio engineer Mick McCoy opted for a Yamaha PM5D for the FOH mix.

LAS VEGAS — Nominations are now being accepted online to recognize products that have advanced the state-of-the-art in sound and three other categories (lighting, staging and projection) over the past year. Called the Indispensable Technology “IT” Awards, this competition has been part of the Annual Parnelli Awards program since 2009.
