BATON ROUGE, LA — PreSonus, which acquired Nimbit earlier this year for an undisclosed sum, says it has integrated its technology and services into Studio One Artist, Producer, and Professional with the goal of providing complete solution for music and audio creation, sales, and promotion. The integration is set to debut Aug. 1, 2012, via a free Nimbit Extension for Studio One 2.0.6 (and later versions).

House of Blues Installs Soundcraft Vi Series Consoles in Three Venues

ANAHEIM, CA — Sound Image upgraded the FOH mixing capabilities of The House of Blues (HOB) location here, and also the HOBs in New Orleans and Las Vegas. (There are 13 venues throughout the U.S.). The Anaheim and New Orleans venues are now using a combination of Soundcraft Vi4 and Vi6 digital mixing consoles. In Las Vegas, the HOB Mandalay Bay venue is using a Vi1 console at FOH.
