West LA Music’s last day of business was Saturday, Aug. 4, according to published reports. (The company’s website was still up after that date, and a phone line active, but callers were instructed to leave a recorded message.) Along with retail sales to professional users, the company had been active working with members of the Grammys Producers & Engineers Wing to stage the annual West LA Music Recording Expo.
