Harman and JBL Support Artists for Autism Benefit Concert

TARZANA, CA — Harman recently supported the Artists for Autism benefit here by providing a JBL VRX PA system for the day-long event. Held at live music venue Petie’s Place, the Artists for Autism event featured performances by Resurrect the Machine, Ronny North, the Back Beat Brawlers and Jeff Iftekaruddin. All proceeds from the event were donated to the Autism Speaks foundation.

The installation included 15 DAS Aero 8A line array boxes, six DAS Avant 118A subwoofers, eight DAS Avant 112A floor monitors and an Allen & Heath iLive T112 analog console with IDR48 mix rack.

A recent check determined the system components are still performing well, despite exposure to the harsh Canadian elements 365 days a year.

NEW YORK — Seeking a small, discreet capsule that could deliver transparent sound quality, Clive Goodwin, sound designer for Once, specified DPA Microphones’ 4060 Omnidirectional Miniature Microphones.
