ATK Audiotek Uses DNC for Launch of its Upgraded Powersoft Amps

CHARLOTTE, NC — ATK Audiotek supported the audio needs at the 2012 Democratic National Convention (DNC), held here in early September, with 474 of its Powersoft DIGAM K10 amplifiers. All had been upgraded all with DSP cards, and the upgraded gear, which gave the crew a new measure of control over processing, monitoring and other functionality using Powersoft’s Armonía Pro Audio Suite, was used for the first time at the convention, held within Time Warner Cable Arena.

LOS ANGELES – Madonna’s MDNA Tour is drawing capacity crowds to stadiums around the world. The show features 11 musicians, 22 dancers, multiple costume changes, a novel staging and graphic design and an audio system from Eighth Day Sound that includes two DiGiCo SD7s at Front of House and another on monitors. PRG, Showtec Unify Operations, Shift Staff

ARMONK, NY — Production Resource Group, LLC (PRG) announced Sept. 27 the corporate structure of PRG in Germany has been changed — PRG and Showtec are now one company. PRG also announced management shifts as the operations under the formerly separate companies continue to merge. PRG first announced that it was acquiring Showtec in late March, 2011.
