The company notes that training events now take place every one to three weeks on a year-round basis, and Adlib expects the events to become even more frequent in 2013.

SAN FRANCISCO — In a juried decision, “On the Study of Ionic Microphones” was named “Best Paper” at the 133rd AES Convention. Devin Townsend’s “Retinal Circus” Show at London’s Roundhouse Includes Radial Gear

LONDON — Canadian metal multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer Devin Townsend presented “The Retinal Circus” (named after an old Vancouver club in the 1960s, famous for psychedelic rock shows) in London’s 3,300-capacity Roundhouse on Oct. 27. Along with those at the venue, others experienced the show online. The performance was supported by gear from Radial Engineering.

Lausanne Opera House Reopens with Adamson Gear

LAUSANNE, Switzerland — The Opéra de Lausanne, which reopened after a five-years renovation Oct. 5, presented a new production of The Elixir of Love by Gaetano Donizetti. The renovated venue features an Adamson Metrix system controlled and amplified by Lab.gruppen PLM10000Q. The L-R arrays each include three Metrix 5-degree boxes for the main floor level, one Metrix subwoofer for low-end reinforcement and two carefully aimed Metrix 5 degree boxes to cover the balconies. More than 700 VIP guests attended.
