AUSTIN, TX — Audio pros supporting the 40 U.K. bands performing over a five-day span as part of the seventh annual British Music Embassy lineup at the 27th annual SXSW festival faced a considerable challenge during the 2014 event. Along with scant time for sound checks and enormous and ever-changing input lists as each act performed their 45-minute set, BBC Radio was streaming live to the U.K. for the first time. Allen & Heath gear helped make the whole thing happen.

China’s Donlim Marks 25 with Big Concert, DMX Provides Adamson Gear

GUANGZHOU, CHINA – To help Chinese manufacturing firm Donlim celebrate 25 years with a concert attended by close to 10,000 people, audio distributor DMX provided an Adamson Energía system. The setup included L-R line arrays of six E15 and four E12 enclosures. A total of 12 T21 subwoofers provided low end reinforcement – six stacked on the left and right of the stage. “The system performed extremely well,” said Adamson Systems’ David Dohrmann. “We were covering an area of 120 x 80 meters and it sounded great in every seat.”
