MURFREESBORO, TN — North Boulevard Church of Christ, based here, uses a high-quality live audio system in its main auditorium. The church also broadcasts its worship services over a local TV station, records them for use in a satellite church and provides simultaneous translation into Spanish and Chinese. To manage all these services, the church has a new sound and video system that includes a pair of Allen & Heath GLD-80 digital mixers.

Chinese Music Reality Show Installs JBL VTX for Studio Audience

BEIJING — Music reality show Sing My Song, aired by CCTV3, installed Harman’s JBL VTX V25 line array loudspeakers for the benefit of the 300-capacity studio audience. The system includes 10 JBL VTX V25 fullsize line array loudspeakers each that are suspended and cover three sides of the stage. Beneath the stage are three groups of four JBL VTX S28 subwoofers each. The speakers are managed via JBL VTX LAC (Line Array Calculator) Software.

Missouri Athletic Club Installs Yamaha IF, MTX System

ST. LOUIS, MO – The Missouri Athletic Club (MAC), founded in 1903, recently upgraded its audio-visual system in the Missouri Room, its main ballroom, used for banquets and receptions. TSI-Global designed and installed a new system that includes ten Yamaha IF2208W loudspeakers that are processed using the new Yamaha CIS MTX3. TSI also installed four DCP1v4S units to control six audio sources (three wall plate inputs, two Sennheiser wireless microphones, and a DVD player).
