VUE Audiotechnik has released the latest addition to its al-Class line array family, the new al-4-sb Flyable Isobaric Subwoofer. At the heart of the al-4-sb are two 15-inch transducers that feature neodymium magnets and large 4-inch (100 mm) diameter voice coils for high power handling and reduced power compression. LAS VEGAS – For this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival, held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 20-22, there were seven stages, carnival rides, art installations, fireworks displays and over 400,000 tickets sold. 3G Productions set up a fully-loaded Martin Audio MLA loudspeaker system on Stage Two consisting of 12 MLA Compact enclosures per side for sidefills and three MLA Compact units per side for front fills. 40 MLX subs were stacked along the front of the stage. The consoles used were Yamaha CL5 (FOH) and PM5D (monitors).
