GAPYEONG, South Korea – The ‘Light of Life’ Chapel, made from more than 600 trunks of Russian red pine that a Korean businessman gathered over the course of 10 years, is an architectural wonder but an acoustic challenge, particularly when the installation requires that the audio gear be heard but not seen. Soundus, K-array’s Korean distributor, provided a system that includes four KP52 ultra slim wall mount speakers that were hidden within the beams, with three KAN200s  also wrapped around the shape of the buildings’ structure, in particular the cylinders extending from the roof.

Bose Panaray Loudspeakers Offer Clear Sound for the Gateway to St. Augustine

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – As part of a larger renovation of the St. Augustine Visitor Information Center, a Bose Panaray modular line array sound system was installed in conjunction with a LED video wall. “The visitor’s center was built as a community center, and its main hall is big and boomy – a difficult acoustical challenge,” explains Ron Prier. “The videowall is located in this entrance area and the video was filed by a high-definition RED camera, so we had to find a sound system that could provide sound quality that matched the quality of what visitors experience visually, while at the same time being able to address the acoustic issues of that space. The answer was the Bose Panaray system.”
