Radial Engineering Re-Launches Hafler Audio Brand

VANCOUVER, BC – Radial Engineering, which purchased the Hafler brand from Rockford-Fosgate, is re-launching the brand this year. “Way back in the 1990’s, Radial was the Canadian distributor for Hafler, and ever since then, we have felt that given the opportunity, we could bring Hafler back to the world of audio,” said Radial president Peter Janis.

Ed Sheeran Touring with Major Tom-supplied Meyer LYON System

LONDON – Major Tom Ltd. is providing a Meyer Sound LYON system to support Ed Sheeran’s one-man shows. The setup varies, with larger shows using front hangs of 12 LEO-M over four LYON linear line array loudspeakers each, with 14 additional LYON loudspeakers in each of the twin side hangs. Completing the system are 18 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements for low end and eight M’elodie line array loudspeakers for front fill. A Galileo Callisto loudspeaker management system with one Galileo Callisto 616 AES and four Galileo Callisto 616 array processors provide system drive and alignment. Chris Marsh is Sheeran’s production manager and FOH engineer.

K-Array Delay System Deployed In Denmark

AARHUS, Denmark – A custom delay system comprised of K-array speakers was installed in the new offices for Krifa, a trade union, which relocated here recently from Randers, Denmark. The speakers are installed within a large meeting room in the new facility. Jan Juul Hansen, from MAVT DK distributor of K-array managed the audio setup for the space.

City Winery in Napa, CA Installs Meyer Sound MINA Arrays

NAPA, CA – City Winery is a collection venues pairing music and wine launched by Michael Dorf, also known as the founder of  the Knitting Factory performance spaces in NYC and beyond. Dorf opened the first City Winery in New York in 2008 with a Meyer Sound M’elodie line array loudspeaker system. The Chicago location followed, with a JM-1P arrayable loudspeaker system. At the City Winery location (pictured here), the setup includes MINA, 1100-LFC, UP-4XP and MJF-210 elements with a Galileo Callisto loudspeaker management system. Another Meyer Sound system was slated for a Nashville location, due to open this month.
