Regina, SK Town Council Installs Shure DDS 5900 Digital Discussion System

REGINA, Saskatchewan, Canada — For years, the Regina Town Council struggled with unreliable audio at public meetings, despite having a high-tech wireless system in place. Professional Audio-Visual Ltd., better known as Pro AV, helped rectify the problem. After assessing the existing system and the council’s need for reliability, intelligibility, and ease of use, Pro AV director of sales and service Derek Yan recommended a dedicated digital discussion system, the Shure DDS 5900.

BISMARCK, ND – Tricorne Audio installed an EAW sound system to enhance contemporary and traditional music performed within a 600-seat room that Century Baptist Church opened in 2007. The new system replaced the single mono loudspeaker cluster that was originally installed. Tricorne Audio, headquartered in Fargo, ND, assisted with both the design and installation of the new EAW system.

RENO, NV – Located on the northern portion of University of Nevada’s Reno (UNR) campus, Mackay Stadium is the principal venue for the University’s football and soccer events. The stadium, which was originally constructed in 1966 and has been subject to many renovations over its nearly 50 year history, is host to the Nevada Wolf Pack football program and also the venue of choice for many other events, including the women’s soccer team and Special Olympics. Recently, Sparks, NV-based Pro AV & Electronics, was chosen to upgrade Mackay Stadium’s aging audio system, which was reaching end of life and experiencing intermittent performance issues. The installation, which was completed in September, was anchored around Powersoft amplification.

BEAVER CREEK, CO — For the first time in 15 years, the Alpine World Ski Championships will take place in the USA.
