RIO DE JANEIRO – An Allen & Heath GLD mixer has been installed in Rio de Janeiro’s Maracana stadium in Brazil. The venue, which had been closed for a three-year renovation prior to this year’s reopening in preparation for the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup soccer competition, now features a GLD-80 mixer at the heart of its new audio system. The system includes Electro-Voice gear distributed via a Dante network.
