Mauritius Resort Installs One Systems Loudspeakers

BELLE MAR, Mauritius — Rentacolor Mauritius LTD was called in to design the new system for The Lux Belle Mare resort on the east coast of Mauritius, an island nation in the Indian Ocean. Megadeth Engineers Using DiGiCo Gear on Tour

NEW YORK — Sound designer Ken Travis turned to DPA Microphones’ d:screet 4061 Omnidirectional Microphones to close-mic the entire cast of the staged musical, Aladdin, which opened recently on Broadway. The production’s orchestra is also equipped with d:dicate 2011C Twin Diaphragm Cardioid and d:vote 4099 instrument microphones.

New York’s Sao Restaurant Equipped with VUE i-Class Speakers

NEW YORK — Sao, a new Brazil-themed restaurant in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood, has been equipped with a new loudspeaker system from VUE Audiotechnik. Restaurant and club designer Kenny Fiesta was involved in the project, and after comparing different solutions, Fiesta opted for a system that includes six VUE i-6 powered two-way systems for the venue.
