Shure Captures the Sound of Music Icons at the 65th Grammy Awards

LOS ANGELES – The 65th Grammy Awards was broadcast live from Los Angeles’s Crypto.com Arena on Feb. 5, 2023. Along with Shure Axient Digital wireless technology for host Trevor Noah, the show’s audio production team relied on 59 channels of Shure wireless including 28 channels of Shure PSM 1000 IEM systems and 160 Shure P10R bodypacks for most of the performers. The list of artists including Lizzo (pictured here with Shure’s KSM11 microphone capsule), Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Spliff Star, Busta Rhymes and more.

Audio Engineering Society Receives Technical Grammy Award

LOS ANGELES – The Audio Engineering Society (AES) was presented with a prestigious Technical Grammy Award during Grammy Week 2023. AES President Bruce Olson and AES President-Elect Leslie Gaston-Bird accepted the Special Merit Award on behalf of the Society during a ceremony held by the Recording Academy on Feb. 4 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.
