Sphere Immersive Sound, Powered by Holoplot, Makes its Debut in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS – Sphere Entertainment Company invited journalists to a demo on July 20 to get a sneak listen within the $2.3 billion, 17,600-seat Las Vegas venue dedicated to immersive entertainment that will open its doors to the public this fall. Venue execs joined Roman Sick, CEO of Holoplot in describing the Sphere’s unique sound system, which makes use of 3D audio-beamforming and wave field synthesis technologies.
