CHICAGO — Picking up for Capital Sound, which had supported The Killers tour stops in the U.K., Delicate Productions provided a Martin Audio MLA system for the band in the U.S. Along with the usual challenges in optimizing the sound within venues ranging from mid-sized arenas to small theaters, casinos and ballrooms, which the MLA system helped tackle, the Camarillo, CA-based production company had to contend with cancellations of major arena shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Toronto’s Air Canada Centre and New Jersey’s Susquehanna Bank Center due to lead singer Brandon Flowers’ laryngitis.

LIVONIA, MI — Thunder Audio, headquartered here, recently added 34 RCF subwoofers to their production inventory. The additional gear includes 24 TTS56-A (double-21) subwoofers, eight TTL36-AS (double-18) flyable active subwoofers and two TTS28-A (double-18) active subs, noted Thunder Audio owner Tony Villarreal.
