L500 console to serve as the premier mixing solution for its clients. Currently in use for a four-month-long national comedy tour, Mertens’ Live console has also been reserved for an extensive project list of classical music concerts that takes them well into the spring. The console was supplied to Mertens by SSL Live Distributor for the Netherlands, Audio Electronics Mattijsen.

TOKYO — Tokyo’s Blue Note Club recently played host to Danish Jazz producer and pianist Niels Lan Doky, who took his own DPA d:facto Vocal Microphone to Japan, along with his DPA 3521 Cardiod Compact stereo kit to mic Blue Note’s grand piano. Lan Doky performed with Swedish singer and actress Edda Magnason. Also on stage were the other two thirds of Niels’ jazz trio – drummer Niclas Bardeleben and bass player Ira Coleman.

Wisconsin Union Theater Celebrates 75th Year, Installs New L-Acoustics Rig

MADISON, WI – Sitting on the southern shore of Lake Mendota on the campus of University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Memorial Union building has served as the school’s hub for student government and other organizations, dining, entertainment and general social life since 1928. The crown jewel of the facility is the 1,165-seat Wisconsin Union Theater, which began featuring performances 75 years ago and recently installed its first full-range line array system, an L-Acoustics KARA rig.

Off Broadway Revival for “Into the Woods” Gets Masque Sound Support

NEW YORK — Masque Sound provided a custom audio equipment package for sound designer Darron L West and associate sound designer Charles Coes who were tasked with the audio design for an Off-Broadway revival of the Tony-award winning musical, Into the Woods. The Fiasco Theater’s production was presented by Roundabout Theatre Company in association with McCarter Theatre Center. It began previews Dec. 18 prior to an official opening Jan. 22, 2015, at the Laura Pels Theatre within the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre.

Highland Park Baptist Church Installs Danley Speakers, Ashly Processing and Amps
