Deaf West Theatre’s ASL Version of “American Buffalo” Includes Wireless Headphones for the Hearing-Enabled

LOS ANGELES, CA — Together with Deaf West Theatre, California State University Los Angeles took an unusual approach to its co-production of David Mamet’s American Buffalo, which wrapped in early March. A majority of the production was performed in American Sign Language (ASL), which meant the hearing audience not conversant in ASL needed a little assistance understanding the lines. Enter Sennheiser wireless headphones, which delivered spoken lines to each hearing audience member’s ears.

International Green Week Event in Berlin Gets Boost from Riedel Communications

BERLIN, Germany — Demonstrating the efficacy of its radio solutions in applications beyond live large-scale sports and entertainment events, Riedel Communications provided communications infrastructure for International Green Week (IGW), Jan. 15-24 in Berlin. Working with systems integrator Gegenbauer, Riedel provided IGW event host Messe Berlin with a complement of mobile radios and headsets used for organization, security, logistics, program production, and traffic management. Riedel also set up a private business radio (PBR) at the event.
