JBL VTX V20-DF Down Fill Adapter

The JBL VTX V20-DF Down Fill Adapter promises to cover audiences more accurately, powerfully and economically by reducing the number of required VTX V25-II and V20 cabinets for live sound reinforcement.

JBL’s VTX V25-II, the successor to the Harman company’s V25 line array, features a new waveguide for improved long-throw performance, improved wavefront control and improved power matching with the companion Crown I-Tech 4x3500HD 4-channel amplifier. It was introduced at PL+S 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany in mid-April.

Cadac introduced the company’s  CDC MC Dante Version 2 at Prolight + Sound, 2015. The CDC MC Dante V2 is a 1U Dante to MegaCOMMS audio network bridge enabling Dante units to be incorporated within a MegaCOMMS audio network. The unit now features A and B Dante Ethernet ports with redundancy. It can operate at either 96 kHz or 48 kHz and can handle up to 64 inputs and outputs.

Cadac launched its new CDC six digital live sound production console at this year’s Prolight + Sound Expo.

CDC eight V 2.4 software from Cadac made its debut at the recent Prolight + Sound Expo in Frankfurt, Germany. V 2.4 promises users additional features and functionality, including the company’s Monitor Mode and full operational support for the integrated Waves interface.

Harman’s Soundcraft introduced extended Vi5000 (pictured here) and Vi7000 digital mixing consoles at Prolight + Sound 2015. The Vi5000 and Vi7000 offer optional 96kHz processing, upgraded channel counts and even more reliable hardware to the live sound industry’s most popular mixing interface. The Vi5000 and Vi7000 replace Soundcraft’s Vi4 and Vi6 consoles.

FRANKFURT, Germany – Harman’s Crown Audio featured four new XLS DriveCore 2 Series two-channel power amplifiers at Prolight + Sound April 15-18. They promise a variety of upgraded features including more flexible DSP band pass filtering, selectable input sensitivity, remote sleep mode trigger and sleek new styling.

FRANKFURT, Germany – At  the opening of the Prolight + Sound conference in mid-April, L-Acoustics announced the launch of the X Series, a new line of coaxial speakers for the installation and rental markets. The three new enclosures in the X Series family—X8, X12 and X15—represent the most recent engineering innovations at L-Acoustics and directly benefit from the R&D that led to the launch of K2 last year.

FRANKFURT, Germany – Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) introduced its Redline powered loudspeakers at Prolight + Sound 2015 in mid-April. The line includes two powered, two-way loudspeakers – the RL12 12-inch and RL15 15-inch – along with the RL18S 18-inch powered subwoofer.
