The recording is done via a DiGiGrid MGB interface that gets the multichannel 96 kHz MADI stream via Ethernet to the recording PC.

NEW YORK – Masque Sound provides a custom audio package to support the return of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic comedic revival, 39 Steps, to New York’s Union Square Theatre. Sound designer Mic Pool specified a setup that included a Yamaha M7CL, Riedel’s RockNet digital audio distribution network, d&b audiotechnik speakers with E12s on the proscenium high and low and center cluster, as well as E3s for under balcony delays and surround, and L-Acoustic 112Ps as onstage effects speakers, plus a mic package including DPA d:dicate 4011Es,  placed along the front of the stage, and DPA 4061s hidden in the false proscenium.

CARLINVILLE, IL – Advanced Audio & Lighting Systems boosted intelligibility at Blackburn College’s 700-seat Bothwell Auditorium with Powersoft and Danley gear. The team led by Ryan Winstead installed a PowerSoft M50Q HDSP and two Powersoft Duecanali 5204 DSP amplifiers, which drove a brand new left-right speaker array consisting of Danley SH 46s, SM60’s and TH115 subwoofers on each side.
