WINCHESTER, VA — Acme Professional recently installed a DiGiCo SD9 at Shenandoah University’s Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre. The console was chosen based on a combination of features and its benefits for students in training. US Sales Manager Matt Larson, who stopped the load-out activities to power up the SD9 again and demo it for late-arriving Shenandoah faculty members at an audio trade show, was also credited for helping to clinch the sale.

Imogen Heap Concert Includes Sneak Peek at Sennheiser’s Next “Big Thing”

LONDON — While keeping most of the details of a forthcoming product under wraps, Sennheiser gave an audience of 1,200 a “sneak peek” at London’s Central Hall Westminster during a concert pairing Imogen Heap with the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie orchestra. The mystery product makes use of Carrara marble and 2.4 micrometer, platinum-sputtered diaphragms to “cover a frequency range that exceeds the limits of human perception,” according to the company.
