LSU Upgrades Various Athletic Facilities with Danley, Ashly Systems

BATON ROUGE, LA — Terrance Bold, LSU’s assistant director of facilities and grounds, has been upgrading various athletic facilities with Danley and Ashly systems. Upgrades have taken place so far in the university’s its softball field, indoor track, swimming facility, and indoor and outdoor tennis facilities; LSU’s gymnastics facility will be next.

RASTATT, GERMANY — In a special event marking the 300th anniversary of the city of Karlsruhe in Germany, organists in the twinned cities of Halle an der Saale (Germany), Nancy (France), Nottingham (England) and Timisoara (Romania) played live with four organists in Karlsruhe itself. Performing “Organum,” a contemporary organ work composed by Wolfgang Mitterer, the live video feeds of the organists playing were set to a complex sound and image installation, with the help of two Lawo video processor units and a Lawo mc²36 audio mixing console.
