St. Paul’s Methodist Church Installs Symetrix Jupiter DSP Before and After Sanctuary Fire

OXNARD, CA – After years of planning a complete renovation of its sanctuary, including an upgrade to cutting-edge A/V technologies, St. Paul's United Methodist Church suffered a devastating setback one week before its completion. A fire ruined everything inside the sanctuary. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but so close to such a long-awaited rebirth, the fire was a demoralizing setback of several months. Sound Casework designed and installed St. Paul's new AV system, which was quick to install (and reinstall) thanks to the Symetrix Jupiter 8 "zero learning curve" audio processor at its heart.

The idea is to let diners not just order their own meals, but custom-design them as well. O'FALLON, MO – Tim Croghan, auditorium manager at Fort Zumwalt West High School, was looking for an upgrade from the analog sound board that the school had been using. It wasn't long before students, who were allowed to explore and operate the console themselves, started teaching Croghan a thing or two about the new desk.

HOHHOT, China – Members of the band, Anda Union, are using DPA microphones for a variety of acoustic instruments used on their current world tour. The band, formed to perpetuate Mongolian musical traditions, has been performing worldwide for the past eight years. The mics were supplied by DPA's U.K. distributor, Sound Network.

AUSTIN, TX – David Hough, the longtime audio director of Austin City Limits, has seen a lot of changes in the production of the PBS concert series, now in its 37th season, including the move to a new performance venue. The show, originally taped at Studio 6A at KLRU, has moved to ACL Live at the Moody Theater. One thing that hasn't changed, however, is the show's reliance on Shure mics.
