Harman Provides Sound for An Ode to the Blues Festival

BANGALORE, India — Harman provided a complete live sound system and Martin lighting for the An Ode to the Blues festival in Bangalore, India. Two stages were equipped with a variety of JBL loudspeakers including four VRX 900 Series loudspeakers, two STX828 dual-18-inch subwoofers, two PRX615M powered loudspeakers and two STX815M loudspeakers. The loudspeakers were powered by Crown VRACK complete, self-contained amplifier systems, which include I-Tech HD Series power amps, analog and digital connections and a globally universal power distribution system, all housed in wheeled rack with a suspension system that enables VRACK to be flown if desired.

HAMMOND, IN — Faith Church has been adding a number of “satellite” locations since it was originally founded in South Holland, IL in 1963. There are now six locations, four in buildings that the church owns and two in rented locations. MANAGUA, Nicaragua — International Sound’s Licenciado Ramon Rodriguez provided d&b audiotechnik components for the multi-level 1,200-capacity Teatro Nacional here last fall. The setup includes T-Series including the T10 in a flown LCR configuration. The L-R hangs also include 27A SUBs from the d&b xA-Series flown immediately behind them. More T10s are stacked L-R at stage level atop d&b V-Series V-SUBs.

Shure Names Pro Tech Marketing as Rep of the Year

LAS VEGAS – Shure has named Pro Tech Marketing as their Sales Representative of the Year. Pro Tech President Dean Hinton and vice president Shane Tunnell received the award along with outside sales rep Jaylon Shane at this year’s InfoComm convention in June. Pro Tech Marketing has been a Sales Representative for Shure since 1987.  They have offices located in Denver, Tempe, and Salt Lake City.  Their territory includes Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and parts of Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, and Texas.
