NEW YORK — This summer, undersea sounds captured by artist Jana Winderen temporarily transformed New York City’s seven-block-long Park Avenue Tunnel in the immersive sound installation DIVE. The soundscape was heard through more than 60 Meyer Sound self-powered loudspeakers configured by Tony Myatt, a professor at the University of Surrey.

TAIPEI, Taiwan — An Allen & Heath GLD-80 digital mixer has been installed in the main auditorium of the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). The venue mainly functions as a performance site for NTNU’s department of music, and other speech or music performance courses. A GLD system is the main FOH mixing system, fitted with a Dante card for use with playback and recording software, and to provide multi-track live recording facilities if required.

BRUSSELS, Belgium –PRG’s EML division, based here, is expanding its inventory this year with 36 E15 line array enclosures and 24 E219 subwoofers. The E15 line arrays have already been deployed at Festivalpark in Werchter, Belgium.
