The Invictus Games’ five hour Jaguar Land Rover Invictus Games Closing Concert combined a celebration of medallion presentations to the wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women who competed in the Games, backed by a full concert line up with Foo Fighters headlining and supporting acts Kaiser Chiefs, Ellie Goulding, Ryan Adams, Bryan Adams, The Vamps, Rizzle Kicks and James Blunt.

Invictus Games + Proms in the Park = Big Weekend for Martin Audio MLA

LONDON — Martin Audio’s MLA (Multi-cellular Loudspeaker Array) PA system had its busiest weekend of the year, with two important events coinciding on both sides of London in mid-September. While Capital Sound provided 170 enclosures for Proms in the Park (Hyde Park), the closing celebrations for the inaugural Prince Harry-inspired Invictus Games also featured MLA at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – OneRepublic FOH engineer Zito has been relying on DiGiCo consoles for the band’s performances this year. (The group completed their North American tour leg here Aug. 30 and head to the U.K. and Europe for shows slated from Oct. 19-Nov. 21.) dB Technologies Theater Series Stage Monitors

Italian loudspeaker manufacturer dB Technologies presents its high-performance DVX TH “theater” series stage monitors. The initial introduction includes the DVX-DM12 TH and DVX-DM15 TH active two-way stage monitors. Each high-output, 136 dB max SPL speaker pairs 12” or 15” neodymium woofers with 1.4” exit HF neo compression drivers. The cabinets feature rotatable HF driver (for left or right configuration), double EQ preset, input and output panels on either side with universal switch mode power supply. Response of the DVX-DM12 TH is 63 Hz to 16k Hz; the DVX-DM15 TH is 55 Hz to 16k Hz.
