SYDNEY – For three years, Entertainment Installations has supported the two-month “Twilight at Taronga” summer concert series. This year, the soundco tamed off-site noise issues with Martin Audio’s MLA system. The 17 concert series typically draws close to 1,600 to a twilight setting as the sun sets beyond the nearby Opera House and Harbor Bridge.

Manhattan Center Studios Upgrades with Dual Yamaha CL5 Digital Audio Consoles

NEW YORK, NY — Manhattan Center Studios, a staple in the New York City entertainment, corporate, and cultural event markets, recently upgraded from two Yamaha M7CL Digital Audio Consoles in the 1,200-seat Grand Ballroom to dual Yamaha CL5 Digital Audio Consoles along with two Rio-3224-D input/output boxes. The Rios are providing the CLs with an additional 72 inputs and 48 outputs. JOLIET, IL – Terry McCarthy, partner and systems specialist with Chicago-based Advanced Systems & Technologies (AST), helped Life Church of Rock Run enhance audio coverage with additional Danley components. Amsterdam’s Paradiso Installs Adamson Gear

AMSTERDAM  – Paradiso, a well-known live music venue, recently upgraded their sound reinforcement system with an Adamson Energia PA system. Marian Emmen, head of technology and production for the club, worked with principal sound engineer Dick Versteegh on the upgrade. They also got an assist from Adamson’s director of European operations, Jochen Sommer, and also from Ed De Bree, owner of Adamson’s distributor, Sound & Light Import.
