Vienna Concert Hall Gets Upgrade with Meyer Sound Speakers, Allen & Heath Control System

VIENNA, Austria – One of Vienna’s finest concert houses, the Konzerthaus, recently upgraded the public address system serving its Great Hall and Mozart Hall, selecting Meyer Sound speakers and Allen & Heath’s iDR installation matrix mixers. Installed by ATEC Pro, the new system is designed specifically for voice reinforcement. The iDR DSP systems comprise an iDR-4 matrix mixer for the Great Hall, and an iDR-8 for the Mozart Hall, with a PL10 8-channel rotary panel for remote control, and a PL-8 logic box installed in the Mozart Hall for interfacing to external systems.

Basel House and Bushwick Collective Block Party Rock Miami with VUE Loudspeaker System

MIAMI – Celebrating big-name graffiti artists, the Basel House and Bushwick Collective Block Party is an annual four-day arts and entertainment fair. At the latest block party — which ran during Miami Art Week at the Mana Urban Arts Museum in Miami, former site of the historic RC Cola Plant — street artists created live paintings on canvas, brick walls and cars, while music was provided by live bands and DJs. VUE Audiotechnik loudspeakers were specified to provide sound reinforcement for the event’s performances. LPS Production working in conjunction with Kor Media and Lighting provided the full production setup, from staging to audio and video.

New Drum Mic Packs from Telefunken

 

At NAMM, Telefunken Elektroakustik will unveil two new microphone drum packs. The DC7 has seven mics: M82 (kick), M80-SHB (snare), three M81-SH (toms) and two M60 FET condensers for overheads. The DC7 ships in a heavy-duty hard shell HC87 flight case and includes drum mic mounts (M782, M784 and M785) and 5-meter SGMC-5R XLR cables with a right angle female connectors for each mic in the set.
