AES New York 2022 Convention Exceeds In-Person Expectations, Event to Continue Online Oct. 26-27

NEW YORK – The AES heralded its return to in-person international-scale events in New York from Oct. 18-21. Registration for the 153rd International Audio Engineering Society Convention came close to 7,000, which, combined with the co-located 2022 NAB Show New York, drew 16,500+ content creation professionals to Manhattan’s Javits Center.

The 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards Rely on Shure

CORAL GABLES, FL – The 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony was broadcast live from Watsco Center in the Miami area Sept. 29. Produced by Telemundo, the ceremony relied on 24 channels of Shure Axient Digital Wireless and 48 channels of Shure’s PSM 1000 IEM system. Several artists also performed with Shure vocal mics including the company’s new KSM11 wireless vocal capsule.

The new desk is powered by SSL’s T80 Tempest engine. Camp’s setup is designed for Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and stereo music mixing and remixing, both in the studio and remotely.
