Mike Shinoda Tour Engineers Use Waves Plugins and SoundGrid Servers

KNOXVILLE, TN – FOH engineer Mike Fanuele (pictured here) and monitor engineer Kevin “Tater” McCarthy have been using Waves plugins for the Mike Shinoda 2019 tour, supporting his solo album, Post Traumatic. At FOH, the setup starts with a DiGiCo SD10 v987 with a Waves Extreme Server and L-Acoustics P1 processors. At monitors, a DiGiCo SD11i v.929 with Waves and Optics is installed along with an SD rack (shared with FOH), Stadius input and output cards plus one Klang Fabrik and one Waves Extreme Server.

Severe Weather Disrupts Major NYC Area Festivals

NEW YORK – The Governors Ball music festival on Randall’s Island and Hot 97 Summer Jam at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey were both affected by severe weather that moved into the area on June 2. Attendees at Hot 97 were able to return to their seats after a delay, but the Governors Ball event was cut short with an ordered evacuation. Governors Ball organizers also noted that refunds would be issued to those purchasing tickets for the day affected, and partial refunds would be available for three-day pass purchasers.
