NEW YORK – With magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, the Rainbow Room was conceived as a formal supper club and intimate establishment where the elite of New York could gather and dance to legendary musicians. Citiview AV, a New York-based full service location production company has overseen the Rainbow Room for about nine years and has had a long-standing relationship with audio installer Boulevard Pro of New Jersey. “The previous line array system in the Rainbow Room was installed about eight years ago, and with the new technology currently available, I re-approached Boulevard to recommend a new system,” states Citiview Owner Steven Lichtensteiger.

UC Davis Mondavi Center Sings with Meyer Sound

DAVIS, CA – Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts at the University of California Davis campus is the premiere performance venue in Northern California. Named after the family that founded the famous Robert Mondavi Winery in the Napa Valley, the Center hosts more than 100 performances annually, including world-renowned philharmonic orchestras, rock concerts, lectures and dance performances, as well as various programs presented by UC Davis. Jackson Hall, Mondavi’s 1,801-seat venue designed with natural acoustics mimicking the world’s best classical concert halls in Vienna and Amsterdam, is now equipped with a sound system comprising Meyer Sound M’elodie line array loudspeakers and 600-HP subwoofers.

Australia Day Celebrates with Meyer Sound

QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA – Australia Day, the country’s official national day, is a celebration of the first European settlement on the continent. This year’s Australia Day weekend concluded with the popular Sydney Ports Jazz on the Water concerts and a spectacular fireworks display. An audience of over 150,000 packed the Cockle Bay in Darling Harbour for the concerts and fireworks, powered by a Meyer Sound system. Provided by Sydney-based Coda Audio, the sound system was staged on an 80-foot high floating platform.
