MUSKEGON, MI – The next Worship Arts Technology Summit (WATS), set for Sept. 13-15, is open to all church technicians, musicians and vocalists seeking the worship arts and technology training. The event is sponsored by Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Yamaha Corporation of America, Shure, Elation Lighting, and Media Shout.
The training, which will include hands on participation, focused teaching and certification in audio, lighting, media presentation and musicianship, will be structured to accommodate a range of skill levels. New this year, WATS has added web design to the media track, covering website development and social networking.
Attendees will spend three days immersed in the track of choice, and have opportunities to interact with instructors from the morning breakfasts to the end-of-the-day bonfire on the shores of Lake Michigan.
