CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – The NSCA named Ron Pusey president of the NSCA Board of Directors. Ingolf de Jong was named vice president; Ray Bailey, treasurer; and Kelly McCarthy, secretary; and Paul Cronin was also newly appointed to the board. All were appointed to two-year terms.
Pusey is president/CEO of Communications Specialists, Inc.; de Jong president of General Communications, Inc.; Bailey is president of Lone Star Communications, Inc.; McCarthy is president of Genesis Integration, Inc.; and Cronin is president/CEO of Atrion Networking Corporation, a 1nService Company.
"We are at a pivotal junction within the industry," Pusey said. "During the next two years, NSCA will have the opportunity to focus on changing technologies and systems, and what that means to traditional systems integration companies. This will help us show our members how to take advantage of these changes as well as understand the issues surrounding them."
Cronin, who brings more than 25 years of experience in both IT and physical security, is expected to help NSCA expand its member services to benefit these technology sectors of the industry. He also brings knowledge of new revenue channels and business opportunities.
"I look forward to leveraging my 25 years of industry experience to provide innovative ideas that will help to expand the diversification of NSCA's members and programs," Cronin said.
One of Pusey's key objectives is to build better integrators through the association and the services it provides. He plans to focus on cost-saving programs such as NSCA's SystemsPlus Insurance Solutions, create more engaged and knowledgeable business owners, and highlight NSCA as the voice of the industry through its advocacy efforts.
