BANGKOK – TechWorX worked with consultants Club Favour to help the 1,000-capacity Shock39 nightclub reopen with sound gear including the new Trinity X subwoofer from Void Acoustics. The Void system is the first to be imported into Thailand, and Schock39 is the first venue anywhere to be equipped with Trinity X subs.
"Shock39 is one of Bangkok's largest clubs, and we believe we have something very special to offer," noted Club Flavour's Abby Ahzan. "We have done everything to the highest standards, overcoming the usual local problems of unreliable and unstable power supplies, and applying a European design philosophy to the sound system to ensure that we deliver a consistently high quality result.

"It was a real coup to get the Void system into Shock39," Ahzan added. "Working with Tim Margetts at TechWorX, we identified the Axys and Trinity X combination as a perfect fit for our vision of what Shock39 would deliver soundwise.  It has translated perfectly from our initial concept to reality, and the club sounds fantastic!"

Ahzan also credited Void's Rog Mogale for traveling to the club for the opening and putting the finishing touches on the system, which includes eight of Void's Trinity X subs for the main dance floor, positioned in a 2 x 4 array below the DJ booth, built on a double layer of concrete to ensure sufficient low-end separation.

Six of Void's Axsys 15 cabinets deliver the dance floor sound, custom-finished in black and red, with another six Basys 12s positioned around the peripheral seating areas and VIP lounges.  The whole system is powered by Void Infinite amplifiers, complemented by DigiDrive Plus loudspeaker management processors.
