CHICAGO — Sensaphonics Hearing Conservation, Inc. founder and president Michael Santucci, Au.D., has been named to the board of trustees of the American Academy of Audiology Foundation (AAAF).
The foundation, which supports numerous education, research and public awareness initiatives, raises funds through corporate partnerships, conferences, trade show events and other activities in support of its mission.
“I’m truly honored to be asked to serve as a trustee of the AAA Foundation,” Santucci said. “It’s a great group of people doing important work in raising awareness and funds for deserving causes in audiology. I hope I can bring some energy and ideas to help in that effort.”
Santucci’s firm, Sensaphonics, offers hearing protection for musicians with technology tailored to the needs of performing artists and other industries where high-impact noise control is a requirement.
