Along with a wide array of educational sessions and demos in meeting rooms, other sessions took place right on the show floor.
This year’s late spring medley of Covid-delayed in-person trade exhibitions continues. First it was the NAB Show in Las Vegas April 24-27, then Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, Germany April 26-29, then Integrated Systems Europe in Barcelona, Spain May 10-13, then the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA June 3-5, and now InfoComm in Las Vegas June 8-10.
Exhibiting manufacturers of lighting and video products have been busy with R&D advances while the stages around the world went dark. Many were happy to be able to show off what they’ve been working on with a range of new product launches at these shows with more waiting in the wings. Here’s a sampling of what was on offer at InfoComm 2022’s exhibition floor.
Adamson Systems
Along with its current crop of loudspeakers, Adamson presented Load Library 5.3 for the Lake Processor, which optimizes the ease of use of linear phase and conventional crossover settings.
Alcons Audio
Featured products included Alcons Audio’s new LR18/90i, a 3-way, compact format line-array sound system.
Allen & Heath
Allen & Heath’s AHM Audio Matrix Processor range now includes the AHM-32 and AHM-16. Also new are CC-7 and CC-10 Touch Panels for custom control and three compact Dante expanders — the DT20 with two mic/line inputs; the DT02 with two XLR line outputs; and the DT22 with 2×2 I/O on Phoenix connectors.
Ashly Audio
Ashly Audio’s new SP-8.1P passive subwoofer offers 150w handling power in an 8-inch package for installation in areas where a larger subwoofer wouldn’t typically fit.
Audinate/Dante
Audinate provided info on its new Dante Brooklyn 3 audio networking module and Dante Fremont 3 AV networking module.
Audio-Technica
The big news at Audio-Technica’s booth was the company’s new 3000 Series wireless IEM system.
Biamp
Biamp featured its Parlé audio and video conferencing bars, Impera control systems, Devio SCX conferencing hubs, Desono EX loudspeakers, TesiraFORTÉ X premium conference room processors, NPX network paging stations and more.
d&b audiotechnik
Along with its compact new XSL System, visitors to d&b audiotechnik’s booth could learn about the company’s new 5D Amplifier.
DAS Audio
DAS Audio presented its LARA cardioid line array and companion cardioid subwoofer.
DiGiCo/Klang
DiGiCo featured its Quantum range of consoles along with KLANG integration at InfoComm 2022.
Fulcrum Acoustic
Stemming from its AH model, Fulcrum Acoustic’s AHC2 High Output Coaxial Horn retains the compact enclosures and features of the original AH while incorporating higher output drivers.
Holoplot
Holoplot team members were on hand to discuss their X1 Matrix Array line including the X1 Modul 96 fullrange speaker array and X1 Modul 80-S + subwoofer.
K-array
K-array presented their new Kommander series amplifiers. They incorporate cloud-based technologies using an Integrated Electronic Brain (IEB) aboard each amp.
Konig & Meyer
Among the other handy solutions at Konig & Meyer’s booth, the company featured its model 23900 Mic Quick-Release adapter.
L-Acoustics
Among the featured products at L-Acoustics’ booth: the company’s new ultra-shallow Soka and companion SB6i sub.
Lawo
Lawo’s Andreas Hilmer was one of many audio industry execs who attended both the NAMM and InfoComm shows. New this year: Lawo’s HOME infrastructure management platform’s integration with Merging Technologies solutions.
LEA Professional
LEA Professional used InfoComm 2022 to showcase its Connect Series amplifiers.
Lectrosonics
Lectrosonics’ featured products included their DSR and DSR5P digital receivers, DSR4 digital receiver, D Squared digital wireless microphone family, wireless IFB (interruptible fold back) systems and more.
Meyer Sound
Meyer Sound featured its new flagship PANTHER line arrays, which can roar like the company’s LEO while sharing the footprint of their LYON enclosures. Three models offer different horizontal dispersion and they come with IP55 weather protection.
Neutrik
Neutrik had info about their new powerCON TRUE1 TOP L cable connectors.
RCF
RCF featured their NX 985-A, which is designed for clubs, bands and P.A./rental companies and can be paired with their new SUB 8008 double-18” subwoofer.
Renkus-Heinz
Renkus-Heinz’s PCX Series are passive column speakers that make use of the company’s UniBeam steerable technology.
Riedel
Riedel had info on their new punQtum Q-Series digital partyline intercom system.
Sennheiser
Sennheiser added its new EW-DX offering to its Evolution Wireless line of digital products.
Shure
Shure introduced its MXA920 ceiling array microphones at the show, an update to the company’s MXA910 mics.
Solid State Logic
Along with the new SSL Live L650 console with V5.1 Software, Solid State Logic’s booth featured the company’s L100, Remote Tile and System T Tempest Control Rack flypack system and the new BiG SiX SuperAnalogue mixing console + USB interface.
Solotech N3331

StageTec
Along with the AVATUS mixing console series, Stagetec’s booth featured their NEXUS compact-TrueMatch preamplifier and controller.
Void Acoustics
Among the new gear offered by Void Acoustics was the company’s IP55-rated, super-compact Cyclone 4 unit, which measures just 5.9” x 7.1” x 6.9”.
Yamaha
Yamaha Unified Communications featured their audio and video conferencing solutions at the show.
While FRONT of HOUSE did not have a booth this year, the June issue was available along with our affiliated publication, PLSN, along with other magazines at the show.
