Now offered in the FCC-approved 518 MHz to 542 MHz UHF operation range, the EM900 is a single channel, stereo in-ear monitoring (IEM) system in a rugged, half-rack chassis that’s designed to provide high-end performance at an affordable price.
Specs include a 30 Hz to 15k Hz frequency range, 10 mW RF output power and 100-240 VAC operation. Features include ¼” and XLR audio inputs; stereo or mono operating mode; front-panel headphone monitoring (via both 1/4″ and 1/8″ TRS jacks) of the audio feed sent to the IEM receiver; and a large LCD screen for visually monitoring operating status or performance parameters.
Street price is $439, which includes the EM900 Base Transmitter with antenna, an EM901 bodypack receiver and a pair of EM902 earbuds. The EM901 beltpack receivers run up to 8 hours on two AA batteries. Among the options available are single- and dual-unit rackmount kits, additional EM901 beltpack receivers (allowing multiple users to hear the same monitor mix) and extra pairs of the EM902 earbuds.
