Produced by AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association, InfoComm is the largest professional audiovisual trade show in North America, with thousands of products for audio, unified communications and collaboration, display, video, control, digital signage, home automation, security, VR, and live events. The virtual version of the expo — InfoComm 2020 Connected — kicked off June 16th, with live presentations and keynote addresses and will continue through June 18th, while Exhibitor Showcases will be available from June 16-August 21 to maximize manufacturer brand visibility and have customers continue to learn about their technology products.

The opening keynote presentation — “A Better Normal: Reducing Friction and Finding Our Way in a Hybrid World” — focused on dealing with the changes caused by COVID-19 and included comments by Kate Wik of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, regarding this week’s reopening of the town which will return to hosting the InfoComm show in 2022.

New products are always a highlight of any InfoComm, with this year featuring 495 exhibitors (167 of them being audio) with links and product info. In addition to dozens of educational programs and sessions, one popular attraction will be the “New Tech Lightning Rounds” —ongoing 15-minute presentations where InfoComm exhibitors provide a “show floor” style experience as they demo their newest products.

All registrations for InfoComm 2020 Connected are free. Attendees are welcome to watch presentations, join networking events, and visit the InfoComm 2020 Connected platforms as many times as they wish between June 16-August 21.

For more info, visit www.infocomm.org.

Note: FRONT of HOUSE will provide a complete wrap-up of all the highlights of the show — both online and in the July 2020 print issue of the magazine.
