In “Peavey Monitor” Episode 1, host Fred Poole interviews Elon Coats, a Senior Engineer at Peavey, just before Elon is set to retire. Elon was involved in a multitude of projects during his 26 years at Peavey, and was awarded four patents while working on the groundbreaking Peavey Kosmos processors. He loved coming to work at Peavey every day, and his creativity was often sparked by his fellow engineers in a welcoming and collaborative environment.
“You can really put your heart into something if you really love it,” said Elon, who began his audio engineering journey at a young age by making his own amps, pedals, and mixers. He still plays guitar in a church band.
