Work Lifters Unveil Safe Towers

Work Lifters unveiled safe towers at the Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt recently. The towers are the result of three new patents that had been developed to comply with the limitations of the safety normative and improving security and robustness.

More details from Work Lifters (www.worklifters.com):

“Safer than ever,” was the motto that Work Lifters used to start the tradeshow in Frankfurt. That moment has been a turning point for the brand since the implementation of the new DIN56950 standard and the consequent standard DGUV V17 / 18, which replaces the well-known BGV C1, as it has become obsolete.

It was the time to see which companies had adapted the new regulations, as the demand in the German market no longer accepts the products if they are not adapted to the current regulations.

After more than 400 tests and a huge development work side by side with experts in the new regulations, Work Lifters presented in Frankfurt its proposals with renewed designs which are adapted to the strict limitations imposed for the towers. Three new patents had been developed to comply with the limitations of the safety normative and improving security and robustness.

Systems such as WireDrive directs the cable from side to side of the winch’s drums to avoid wire crossing and greatly increases the life of it.

Dynsys is maybe the most important innovation, as it allows an elevation limitation against lifter overloads and blocks the lift system, also preventing internal problems because the overloads would generate higher friction and therefore the tower would limit the lift.

Dynamic Overlap is the last innovation that increases the capacity of the structure and the robustness, being the result of testing the towers in an inclination of 5% with maximum load, offering better stability and ruggedness.
