LAS VEGAS — The official deadline to nominate regional sound companies worthy of being named 2015 Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year is rapidly approaching — it’s little more than one week away. YOUR nomination stands a very good chance of getting a deserving company on the regional Hometown Hero ballot, and if other FRONT of HOUSE readers agree, that regional sound company will be one of the six finalists on the final Parnelli Awards Ballot this September.
A second round of voting will then determine which company ascends the podium for the national Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year Award at the Oct. 24, 2015 Parnelli Awards ceremony in Las Vegas. But it all starts with YOUR nomination. And while you’re in nominating mode, be sure to share your opinion of the most innovative, useful and otherwise indispensable audio product introduced within the last year (mid-2014 to mid-2015). To make an “IT” (Indispensable Technology) Award nomination, go to www.fohonline.com/it by mid-July. All nominated products will also be considered for possible inclusion on the final Parnelli Awards ballot, and voters this September will decide which Audio, Staging, Lighting and Video products will get an “IT” Award, also bestowed at the 2015 Parnelli Awards.
