ORLANDO, FL – Studio Six Digital is showing their DSP Filter Design Module for LARSA at Infocomm 2015.

More details from Studio Six Digital (www.studiosixdigital.com):

LARSA is the powerful Loudspeaker and Room System Analyzer that is available in the popular AudioTools iOS app. LARSA works by playing a sweep through the loudspeaker, and analyzing the audio to produce frequency response, ETC, Impulse Response, and 3D Cumulative Spectral Display plots. LARSA is an in-app purchase in AudioTools, priced at USD $29.99.

The Filter Design option adds the ability to create and edit DSP filters, right on the iOS device (iPhone or iPad).

Run the LARSA test to get a frequency response plot, and let the app design filters for you. The predicted response curve will be shown, and then you can edit the filter parameters, such as center frequency, Q (steepness), and dB boost or cut to get exactly the response that you want.

You can also use a target response curve, so that you can design your filters to match a house curve or desired response curve.

The Filter Design Option allows you to select a number of different filter topologies, notably supported is the miniDSP line of DSP controllers. You can also select from different numbers of generic filters.

The Filter Design Option is available as an in-app purchase, normally priced at $14.99, but available during the Infocomm show for the sale price of $9.99.
