LAS VEGAS — This year’s window of opportunity to nominate companies worthy of receiving a Parnelli Award for Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year hasn’t slammed shut yet; the deadline is July 31, 2014. But while the annual FRONT of HOUSE newsletter alert informing readers that they only have scant days before the nominations period closes is still a week away, there’s no reason to wait until that final reminder. Do a worthy company proud by taking a minute to nominate them for the honor today.
To submit a company’s name (and hometown), be sure to visit www.fohonline.com/hometown. The whole thing can be done, from start to finish, in less than a minute’s time. Of course, you are free to spend a bit more time if you, like many who nominate a lighting company for Hometown Hero honors, choose to extoll that company’s virtues in the comment box provided.
Regional finalists will be named shortly after the nominations close July 31. Voting on the regional finalists will then take place, with regional winners determined by August 30.
The winners for each region automatically become the finalists for the 2014 Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year Award, which will be presented at the Parnelli Awards Dinner scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
