ISTANBUL, Turkey — Ankara Sinpas, based here, installed One Systems’ weatherproof 312CIM speakers and 218Sub-W subwoofers as part of the sound system for a new water show here. Akhan SES Isik Ve Gorsel Sistemler Tic of Istanbul handled the audio system design and installation for the attraction, a perk for future owners of 1,000 luxury housing units to open here soon.

Ankara Sinpas sales offices will provide enhanced entertainment services to future owners of 1,000 luxury apartment flats that are currently under construction. The Sinpas show of water, music and light promise to dazzle spectators year-round once construction is complete.
One Systems speakers were selected to ensure the durability and weatherproofing of the sound system for the next decade. “The system is completely exposed to weather year round, along with the spray from the fountains. Not only did we have a need for weatherproof speakers, but each needed to be high powered and highly intelligible. Therefore, One Systems speakers matched our client’s needs perfectly,” notes Haluk Akgun, managing director of Akhan SES.
Working closely with the client, Haluk and his team created a surround sound system that is unbeatable. Akgun designed the cabling, conduit and tower designs, as well as the speaker placement throughout the 400,000 square foot space. H.E.C Group of Istanbul also assisted in the installation. Each 312CIM full-range system and 218 Sub-W subwoofer was installed on large poles surrounding the fountains using customized pole mounts provided by Akhan. There are four 312CIM’s and two 218 Sub-W subwoofers on each pole.
