Lombardi SLR Joins Adamson’s Energia in Italy

TERMOLI, Italy — Lombardi SLR, based here, has become the first full service rental company in Italy to purchase E15’s, joining the growing global team of Energia rental companies. Lombardi SLR’s new E15 system made its debut at the 2012 Umbria Jazz festival in Perugia, headlined this year by Sting.

Based near the Adriatic Sea, Lombardi carries a sizable existing Adamson inventory of Y18, Y10, T21 Sub, SpekTrix, Metrix, M15 & M215 monitors.

Reference Laboratory is in charge of all audio production at Umbria and turned to Cristiano Grassini, Lombardi FOH and Systems Engineer to take the lead as the head of sound on the main stage ‘Arena Santa Giuliana’. When considering the evolving Umbria sound system design, the most important factor is the wide variety of artists, cross the stage from the Jazz genre.

Artists such as Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea, John Scofield, Al Jarreau, and Erykah Badu, played at this year’s event.

At FOHAngelo Tordini of Reference Laboratory comments:  “The closing show of the festival featured a highly acclaimed show by Sting. We received great reviews about the sound from the festival organizers, as well as the local and visiting engineers.”
