Guitarist Peter Thorn Using AKG DMS700 Wireless for Live Performances

LOS ANGELES – Guitarist Peter Thorn, who has worked with artists including Melissa Etheridge, Chris Cornell, Jewel, Alicia Keys and Don Henley, among others, has been using Harman's AKG DMS700 wireless system since he was introduced to it by Steve Stevens of the Billy Idol band.
"DMS700 works flawlessly and sounds amazing. It really is the best system I've ever used in my career," Thorn said.  "The environment scan itself is an amazing feature that allows you to ensure you have zero RF interference, but it's the true sound AKG provides my music that keeps my performances at their best.  DMS700 is absolutely indistinguishable from an actual cable plugged into my guitar.  When I use DMS700, it's one less worry I have about my performance."

Along with the DMS700 wireless system, Thorn uses an AKG C214 microphone and an original Digitech Whammy pedal for studio sessions. Thorn's latest album, Guitar Nerd, was released in 2011 and is available online at the iTunes store, on Amazon and CDbaby.  For more information on Peter Thorn, please visit http://www.peterthorn.com and for AKG, visit http://www.akg.com.
