Ohio Churches Get Boost in Intelligibility from Bosch and Electro-Voice Gear

DOVER, OH – Hoping to upgrade intelligibility at the reverberant St. John's United Church of Christ, Tim Badger of Alstage Sound & Lighting was looking for an alternative to expensive acoustic treatments and the aesthetic complications of a staggered system design. His solution was to use a Bosch Vari-directional Array plus a pair of Electro-Voice EVID 4.2s for light balcony fill. Badger has since replicated that success at three more Ohio churches.

Chicago White Sox Ball Park Upgrades with New Shure Wireless Systems

CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox baseball organization, based at Chicago's U.S. Cellular Field, installed Shure's PSM900 Wireless Personal Monitor and UHF-R Wireless Microphone Systems for the 2011 season, upgrading from Shure's PSM700. The new gear helped the baseball organization avoid running afoul of new FCC regulations on permissible spectrum band frequencies.
